Diesel engines are the beating heart in our customers’ vessels as the power sources for propulsion or for driving crucial equipment such as generators and pumps. We know better than anyone else what performance is required from a diesel engine and what it takes to reliably deliver this level of performance. Teus Vlot has bundled together a huge amount of knowledge and experience in this fascinating area of expertise. Diesel engineering holds no secrets for us – regardless of the engine’s make. And it makes no difference whether we are dealing with classic engines or cutting-edge electrically controlled engines that meet the strictest emission requirements.

For shipping as well as industry

Teus Vlot is the most logical choice for the supply and expert fitting, maintenance, repair and overhaul of diesel engines. One big advantage is that we can also provide everything that is required around the engine. This means that we are specialists in finishing your engine entirely according to your wishes in order to produce a complete, perfectly functioning piece of equipment. We have very extensive facilities at our complex in Sliedrecht for this purpose. Additionally, a large fleet of service vehicles is on standby for on-site work. Although most of our customers come from the shipping and dredging sectors, customers from other sectors are also starting to contact us to an increasing degree.

Not limited to certain makes

Our sales and service activities relating to diesel engines are not limited to certain makes. However, we do have excellent contacts with the manufacturers and/or official representatives of all common makes. We are a dealer and/or official point of service for most of them. This means that we can advise you properly and install, maintain, repair and overhaul your engines expertly and entirely according to the instructions. One especially positive factor for our customers is that our independent position allows us to suggest economically appealing – but always entirely reliable alternatives – in certain cases.
